2017 Summer Academy Class Browse and Account Set Up
The Cedarburg Summer Academy is only open to students that are currently in grades K-12 (2016-17 school year) that reside in the Cedarburg School District.
2017 Summer Academy Class Browse and Account Setup Information
The Cedarburg School District Summer Academy will again be accepting all registrations and payments via our online Summer School registration program. In lieu of a paper brochure, all classes will be available to browse online starting April 14, 2017. In addition, families should begin to setup their accounts on April 14, 2017.
Listed below is the general process for setting up your family account and browsing courses. There have been improvements made to the registration processes this year that are highlighted in bold.
Parents will setup their family account the same as last year but “claim” their student instead of entering student information into the registration software.
If your student attends Cedarburg School District schools, your student will be available in the system to claim without any additional student setup. (Skip to paragraph #3)
If you reside in the Cedarburg School District but your student does NOT attend a Cedarburg School District school, you will need to fill out this Google Form. After you submit your information, we will assign your student an ID number and email it to you to use in the registration process. This will need to be completed before you can “claim” your student(s) and register for classes. We recommend this be completely right away.
From the Summer School Registration home page, click on Register. Create your family account and agree to the terms and conditions.
Browsing: From the Summer Academy Home page (Home in the top black bar) you can select Browse to review available courses. You are able to filter the courses that you want to browse based on Grade, Category, and Session. You can then sort by any of the column titles to limit what you want to review.
NEW: Students that have been referred by their regular teacher for our STEP (Summer Time Extension Program) will not need to do anything special. These courses will show up automatically as signup options only for the students that have been referred. No special passwords needed. Students that have not been referred will not see these courses as options when signing up for courses.
Actual signup/registration for courses will be open on April 20, 2017 at 12pm. Registration will close at the end of the day on May 18, 2017 (11:59pm). Class sizes are limited and each class will close automatically once it is filled. In order to quickly choose classes on April 20th, it is recommended that you setup your account prior to that date.
All Summer School Registration supply fees will be paid online using efunds for schools. When registration for courses is completed, the payment link will take you to the efunds site to setup your payment account and pay your supply fees. You are not officially registered for the class until all fees are received. A confirmation email from efunds will be sent within 24 hours of registering.
Please note that the Summer Academy registration program is NOT attached to our Skyward Student Information system. Therefore, if you have new contact information that you use to setup your account, it will NOT be updated in the Skyward system. If you need to have your contact information updated in Skyward, please contact your student’s school secretary.
