Membership in NHS is an honor and a privilege. Membership is extended to Junior and Seniors who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Service, Leadership, Character, and Scholarship. Juniors and Seniors who have a 9.200 cumulative GPA have fulfilled the scholarship criterion and are invited to proceed in the selection process. Candidates demonstrate the remaining criteria: Service, Leadership and Character, through the materials they submit for consideration. Based on those materials and faculty input, a Faculty Council, which acts on behalf of the entire school staff, makes all membership decisions.
