Course selection for incoming 9th graders and current 9th through 11th grade CHS students must be completed between Monday, January 30 and Friday, February 10, 2012.

Current 8th graders will be receiving their registration materials Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Freshman Preview Night.

Current 9th though 11th graders will be receiving their registration materials Monday, January 30, 2012 during a homeroom.

Please...

1. Check with your core academic teachers to get their recommendations.

2. Check for prerequisites; you may not sign up for any courses unless the prerequisites are met.

3. Refer to the CHS Program of Studies Guide for course descriptions and graduation requirements.

4. Current CHS student must obtain signatures for any courses that require them on your Consent to Register for Course(s) Requiring Permission form and submit them to the Counseling Office by the due date.

5. Current CHS and Webster students, go on-line to Skyward Family Access and follow the directions for registration using the Skyward Family Access On-Line Scheduling Procedures by the due date. (This process automatically registers you for your requests.)

6. Current private and out-of-district students should submit their completed Course Selection List and New Student to District Registration form or Student Information form to their middle school office or CHS Counseling office by the due date.

6. If you fail to register by the due date, you may not get the courses you wish to take and your counselor may create a schedule for you using his/her discretion. There may not be an opportunity to change courses later due to course availability and class capacity!

You must register for at least six credits. The typical load is seven credits per school year (allowing for one study hall per semester).
