CSD Families, Community and Staff Offer Feedback On Community Survey

Over the last three years, the Cedarburg School District has examined facility and instructional needs to maintain the District's high academic standards. Through the development of a Long Range Master Plan, the district identified its top three priorities:
- planning for anticipated enrollment growth;
- supporting teaching and learning and;
- improving safety and security.
The School District completed utilization and capacity studies at each of the five schools and received feedback from more that 30 focus groups with over 485 attendees. The findings from that feedback indicated that 4 of the 5 schools in the district are currently operating at or over capacity, with Webster being the exception. Recognizing that any potential referendum to address these needs must reflect the priorities of taxpayers, the School Board approved sending a survey to all district residents in May to gauge their support of updating the schools.
The results of that survey are here. The outstanding response reflects a strong commitment to our district and our community. Thank you!
