Mission:  Our mission is to empower our students to achieve their highest potential by developing academic, social, emotional and behavioral life skills in a safe, engaging environment.


Vision:  Our vision is to meet the needs of every learner by building strong teacher-student-family partnerships, using data to drive our decision-making and utilizing best instructional practices.


Values:  We will:

-Deliver our curriculum within a framework of research-based, current instructional   

   practices to meet the learning needs of every student.

The Earth Balloon visited Westlawn all day. The entire school took turns visiting the earth as no one else has...from the inside!

Mr. Erickson led the students through the Westlawn Woods to learn more about the restoration project.

Westlawn was nationally recognized as a Blue Ribbon School in November 2010.


Westlawn was nationally recognized as a

Green Ribbon School in May of 2013. 


Westlawn is nationally recognized for three Promising Practice Awards for the Morning Pod Assembly, Girl's Night Out, and Family Involvement.
