American Sign Language (ASL) Club
Welcome to the new Thorson American Sign Language Club!
Students will learn ASL and be exposed to Deaf culture through games, activities, and roleplay. Our goal is to spread knowledge, awareness, and understanding of ASL, Deaf culture, and the Deaf community.
The ASL Club will run two sessions per month, led by club advisor Kristin Dravus, Thorson's Sign Language Interpreter. The sessions will run from October to May.
- 3rd graders will attend on the FIRST Wednesday of each month
- 4th and 5th graders will attend on the SECOND Wednesday of each month
Note: Your child may attend their scheduled session only; there are no makeup sessions available.
Time: 8 am to 8:40 am (meet in front vestibule)
