2016 Best Communities for Music Education

NAMM - National Association of Music Merchants Foundation - creates and supports music opportunities for students and communities, advocates for music programs, provides research. Cedarburg School District was one of 476 district selected nationally and one of 12 in Wisconsin. CHS is proud to be part of this distinction.

2016 AMERICA'S MOST CHALLENGING HIGH SCHOOLS BY WASHINGTON POST

For the fifth year in a row, Cedarburg High School has beenrecognizedby theWashington Poston their annuallist of "America's Most Challenging High Schools". CHS has been ranked #5 in Wisconsin and #661 in the United States.

2016 BEST HIGH SCHOOL RANKING BY U.S.NEWS AND WORLD REPORT

For the second year in a row, Cedarburg High School has been recognized byU.S. News & World Reporton their annual list of "Best Schools" in the nation. CHS has been ranked #3 in Wisconsin and moved from #570 in the United States last year to #389. This is our first year receiving a "Gold" ranking

NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARS

We are proud to announce that the Class of 2017 had a school record 17 students qualify to enter the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program based on their PSAT scores taken in the fall. Congratulations to Josh Bote, Brian Butt, Emma Hansen, Ethan Janecek, Alex Kluck, Andrew Kuborn, Jack Lawniczak, Darby MacLeish, Grace McMillen, David Pelikan, James Radtke, Elizabeth Sattler, Julia Schmidt, Riley Schmitter, Mitchell Stroebel, Joshua Wankowski, and Anna Wilde. Over 1.5 million juniors entered the competition and these students are among the 50,000 highest-scoring students. Good luck as students move forward in the process!
