CHS Among the Best High Schools in the Nation For 2018

For the fourth year, CHS has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report on their annual list of Best High Schools in the nation. For 2018, CHS ranked #3 in the state and #399 in the nation receiving our third gold medal. Congratulations to our outstanding students and staff!

Fall Testing Day

Fall Testing Day is Wednesday, September 25. All freshmen, sophomores and juniors will be participate in testing during the morning. Seniors have optional campus visits. Seniors not attending tours will have college and career support during hte morning. Shortened classes will be held in the afternoon.

BOE Approves Project

On July 18, 2018, the Cedarburg Board of Education unanimously approved a resolution to move forward with a November referendum for $59.8 million for facility improvements to address increasing enrollments, teaching and learning environments and school safety and security. Read More

Long-Range Master Plan

With the expected increase in enrollment in the coming years, extensive utilization and capacity studies have been completed at all five schools. The School Board sought community input through a district-wide survey this past May on the proposed solutions at each school. We received an outstanding response that reflects a strong commitment to our district and our community. A newsletter summary was mailed to all residents headlining the survey results and next steps. ACT score #1 in WI

On September 27, WI DPI released the ACT statewide scores from the 2016-17 school year revealing that Cedarburg School District students continue to perform at exceptional levels. CHS had the highest ACT Composite score in the state with a score of 25.19, #1 in the state! Our entire senior class of 292 students contributed to the overall score, leading the way for the 65,180 students statewide that took the test. Congratulations! Read More...

We are proud to announce CSD is consistently ranked on the list of top school districts in WI by Niche! Of all WI schools, CSD is ranked #3 as “Best and Safest School Districts” and #2 of “Districts with Best Teachers”.

Four Schools Awarded PBIS Schools of Merit

Congratulations to Webster Middle School, Parkview Elementary School, Thorson Elementary School and Westlawn Elementary School for being selected by the Wisconsin RtI Center as a School of Merit for their work accomplished through the implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
