Cedarburg High School is excited to announce 17 students have been selected to receive the 2021 NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC). The award, powered by the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT), recognizes 9th-12th grade students for their computing-related achievements and interests, as part of an effort to encourage a diverse range of students to choose careers in technology. Aramark Meals (posted November 19, 2020)
In an effort to support our community, the Cedarburg School District will be offering free meals to families in need. Any family with school-age resident children is eligible for meals regardless of free/reduced lunch status, per Federal guidelines. A 7-day meal pack of breakfast and lunch will be made available by the CSD Food Service provider, Aramark, from 2 PM - 2:30 PM during the following dates: Tuesday, November 24th and Tuesday, December 1st. A Sneak Peek of Our New Spaces (posted October 2, 2020)
We are excited to begin planning for a socially-distanced community open house at each of our newly-completed schools next spring. Once the High School Phase 2 is complete early next year, this will give the community an opportunity to take self-guided tours throughout the new and renovated spaces and allow parents, students, and community members to tour a single or multiple buildings. More details will be provided closer to the date, adjustments may be needed based on current COVID-19 protocols. In the meantime, through our construction update, parent and community newsletters, CSD website, and social media, we will begin to highlight the new spaces and share photos in a campaign leading up to the open house. On Wednesday, July 29th, the Cedarburg Board of Education approved two learning environments for the 2020-21 school year. Both on-campus (in-person) and at home (virtual) learning environments will be provided.
