OPEN ENROLLMENT
The application period for 2025-26 Open Enrollment is February 3 - April 30, 2025.
The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) open enrollment state-mandated program allows parents to apply for their children to attend school districts other than the one in which they live. Parents must apply to the nonresident district.
The open enrollment application period for the 2025-26 school year is from February 3 - April 30, 2025.
The application period closes at 4:00 p.m. on April 30, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted for any reason.
Between February 3 - April 30, 2025, parents may apply in one of two ways:
- The online application is recommended and available at DPI Open Enrollment. Please click HERE for screenshot directions for the on-line application.
- Although the online application is recommended, paper applications may be obtained from the Department of Public Instruction at DPI Open Enrollment Forms. They must be delivered (hand-delivery is recommended) to the nonresident school district.
For 2025-26, seventeen (17) regular education open enrollment seats were approved by the School Board: one (1) seat in each 4K, KG, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades; one (1) seat in 9th grade; and nine (9) seats in 10th grade. There are zero (0) special education seats available at all grade levels. All applicants attending CSD through the 2024-25 school year in grades 4K - 12th will be guaranteed a seat.
