Mr. Westgate joined the CHS team in 2024, where he teaches symphonic band, concert band, music theory, AP music theory, jazz band, and marching band. His previous teaching experience includes three years of teaching 5^th-8^th grade band at Webster Middle School, as well as four years of teaching 5^th-8^th grade band in South Beloit, Illinois. Mr. Westgate brings a high level of expectations, musicianship, and passion to the process of making music.

In his free time, Mr. Westgate enjoys playing his tuba, writing music, and playing Underwater Hockey with the Milwaukee Manatees.
