Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin
Cedarburg High School has partnered with the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin to provide athletic training and sports medicine services for the student athletes attending CHS. These services include treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, emergency care, event coverage, injury prevention programs, ImPACT pre and post concussion testing, and education for athletes, coaches, and parents. The athletic training room is staffed daily during each sports season from at least 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm as well as coverage for every Varsity sporting event.

This is Melissa’s first year as the Head Athletic Trainer at Cedarburg High School, employed through the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin. Prior to her work at CHS she served as the athletic trainer for Whitefish Bay High School for 7 years and Jefferson High School for 5 years. She received her Bachelor of Science with a major in Athletic Training and minor in Nutrition from Winona State University in Minnesota. Additionally, she is a certified First Aid and CPR Instructor. Her advanced skill set includes running analysis and injury prevention. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys hiking, cooking and spending time with her family.
