Goals of the Program
- 100% of boys and girls teams participating in the CHS Strength & Conditioning Program.
- Maximize the potential of our athletes through a comprehensive, year-round, unified program.
- Improve our athletes overall athleticism, speed, power, agility, quickness, balance.
- Challenge our athletes in the aspects of leadership, attendance, work ethic, attitude, and commitment.
- Help develop our athletes confidence and competitive spirit.
- Place a focus on injury prevention.
Structure of the Program
- Off-Season and In-Season programs for all athletes and teams.
- 4 Training cycles during the school year.
- 5th Cycle is summer program.
- Program transitions from sport to sport, year to year.
- Athletes start the program as a 9th grade athlete and continue through graduation.
- Test to determine baselines and track progress for Speed, Agility, Jumps and all Major Lifts
- Teambuildr software is used to run workouts and track progress.
