
Jerry "Tuffy" Wolter
Jerry "Tuffy" Wolter was a 3-sport participant at CHS. In track, Jerry lettered his senior year and set a school record for the 88o race. In football, Jerry lettered 2 years, was Team Captain and named Team MVP his senior year. Conference-wide football honors include being named by unanimous decision to First Team All Braveland Conference as a Center, and a State Honorable Mention honoree. Jerry's defensive accomplishments include1 interception for a touchdown, 2 safeties, and 4 blocked punts. In basketball, Jerry was similarly impressive, lettering 2 years and being both Team Captain and Team MVP his senior year. In the Braveland Conference, Jerry was leading scorer and set a CHS scoring record for most points in a season.
After graduation Jerry served his country in the United States Marine Corps Air Wing in aircraft maintenance and is a Vietnam veteran. During his time in the Marine Corps, Jerry had the opportunity to continue his love for basketball by playing on the 9th Marine Headquarters Team
