Randy Groth
Great people can make great things happen. This is the case with Randy Groth. Randy has spent most of his life in Cedarburg and is now raising his family here. He attended Cedarburg High School from 1978-1982. During his time at CHS he was an active three-sport athlete in football, basketball, and baseball.
Professionally, Randy became very successful by building his own snack distribution company, Master Wholesale. His other highly successful businesses include Master Printwear and Network Photography. During his career, Randy continued to find ways to give back to Cedarburg athletics and the community. Whether it was donating chips every year for the Bulldog Fest cookouts, or donating concessions for 20 years to the CHS baseball teams, Randy has always supported CHS and community causes.
Randy has also continuously supported the vision for improvements and advancements. This is the case in his support of the Cedarburg Performing Arts Center that opened in 1999. The CPAC not only allows opportunities for students to gain experience on the stage, it also brings in top acts to perform for the Cedarburg community. Randy’s time and donations further made improvements possible at Cedarburg High School with the renovation of the baseball stadium in 2014. This renovation made our stadium one of the top high school baseball facilities in the state of Wisconsin.
Most recently Randy was a major donor to a $1.1 million turf initiative. Cedarburg High School now has close to 30 different sports teams, many of which need outdoor space to practice and compete in the fall and spring. There was a need to provide a consistent playing surface in all weather conditions. Randy became an active member of the Turf Advisory Board. His leadership and guidance helped spearhead the fundraising necessary to make this a reality. This new turf field will not only provide a safe space for athletic teams but also provide an area for Marching Band, Phy Ed classes, and community events.
